God feeds on the dying wishes of the dwindling;
faith peaks where biology malfunctions.
Man keeps the lights on by keeping the ailing alive
and the alive ailing,
because wellness is cancer,
and corruption is its last surviving cure.
Hope must first die
to breathe later;
inspiration is dark matter,
and darkness is the only thing that multiplies.
